Artwork
I have always liked to draw and paint. Below is some of my work. Most pieces are done on canvas using acrylic. Sometimes I'll use spray paint, markers, wood, or just about whatever it takes to get the job done. All of these are for sale, some of them are already sold. If you are interested in purchasing or have any questions about any of the work contact me through my email on the contact page thanks, Joey.
8 arms to kill you with.
My friend Andy is a amazing artist but he never paints and hardly draws. He is just naturally good at drawing and making art. I made him do a collaboration painting with me that we didn't even really finish all the way. Anyway hopefully you'll see some more collaborations between us in the near future.
I started this painting in Orlando and finished it a few months later in California. 3 x 4 feet, acrylic on canvas.
Little painting of a spider lady. 12in x 24in I think, acrylic on canvas.
This is the painting of the small illustration below - 3 x 4 ft. , acrylic on canvas.
8.5 x 11
8.5 x 11 , "new places, new faces".
3 ft. x 4 ft. acrylic on canvas, some red bats.
Another 3 feet by four feet, acrylic on canvas. This painting came out really good considering the sketch for it looked pretty bad. I guess the idea behind this piece is it kind of symbolizes me with all my ideas for art, videos, graphics, and whatever else. Me with my wheel barrel full of goodies!
3 feet by 4 feet, acrylic on canvas. Some fishies and octopus swimming around.
Acrylic on canvas, pretty nice size 36x48. I stole Jackson Pollack's paint splattering technique for the background. The colors look horrible in this picture, this piece definitely looks way better in person.
Sorry this is a really bad picture, this painting is just two long and skinny to fit on here where you can actually see it big enough. This one is acrylic on canvas and pretty much the whole thing was done using all brushes which I rarely ever do. I usually count on paint pens or markers to get fine outlines. The idea behind this one is kind of a second view of one of my paintings shown below with the octopus on the floating skull.
Narrow canvas about 4 ft. tall, acrylic and spraypaint. This is kind of like a painting I did a while ago, the goal is to get as many colors as possible and not have it look like shit. I call this one the black plague.
Acrylic on canvas, I'm not really sure if I like it. IT turned out a little different then planned, but it's an alright one.
Acrylic on canvas, pretty large 36x48. Theres a very small ship in the distance.
Acrylic on a big canvas 36x48, This little picture definitely doesn't do it justice. You have to see it in person its big and way brighter.
I have been wanting to do a graphic for Tim Kovacich for a long time, the chance finally came. The finished board is below. It's a bi-level board from Urth Wakeskates. We are already working on two more graphics that should be out soon.
Finished board.
I sketched this out in class, scanned it, colored it, and here it is. The original sketch was 8.5x11.
I did the outline of this in class while my teacher was lecturing, I thought it turned out alright so I scanned it and added some photoshop touches when I got home. 8.5"x11"
Mexican day of the dead influence obviously, water color and acrylic on canvas around 40x30inches.
Another day of the dead skull, same materials and size as the one above.
Acrylic on canvas 36x48
Adam Roth called me about doing the artwork for the cover of his first CD called A Little Voodoo. This is what I came up with.
This is one of the oldest paintings I still have that I actually like. Acrylic on canvas 40 x 30.
Acrylic on canvas 18x36
Acrylic on canvas 40x30
This is the almost done graphic I worked on for Georges first pro model, he told me he wanted like an Irish theme with leprechauns, a pot of gold, four leaf clovers, and all that good stuff. The bottom part of the drawing wasn't finished when I scanned this but you can see the finished board below.
finished product
This is one of the first really big paintings I did. I actually have this covering a huge part of my kitchen wall. The whole thing is like 4 feet by about 6 feet.
I used a little spraypaint and a lot of colors on canvas. This one is thin and a couple feet tall.
Same deal as the one above a little spraypaint and color with some inspiration from Basquiat.
This is a scary one. 40 x 30 acrylic on canvas.
This is a turtle I painted on the side of a piece of wood.
8.5 x 11 colored pencil drawing.
Red Rabbit stuck in the winter, acrylic on canvas around 40 x 30.
This is kind of like a cartoon painting. These are actually 2 seperate pretty big paintings, acrylic on canvas.
Pencil, black and white octopus drawing.
Pen sketch with a lot of dots for shading, I put color on this and use it for a volume logo also.
This is where we hang out and do all the artwork. We've been trying to put out as many pieces as possible so I named it "The Factory".
Finishing another masterpiece, not really.
Couple extra paintings laying around
